Water Base PU Leather  

KingSun’s  believes in the importance of protecting the environment and has devoted the past several years to the development of non-solvent and low-solvent PU products. Our efforts have been successful and we now offer two types of ECO PU products that are suitable for any application. These materials possess superior processing and performance attributes.
Water Base PU (WBPU): During the production of WBPU, we use water instead of the traditional solvent. Distinguishing material properties include:
1. Lighter weight (20% lighter than Wet PU)
2. “Breathes” well
3. Soft to the Touch and a Good Hand, just like genuine leather.
4. Non-yellowin g , Hydrolysis Resistance
5. It is environmentally friendly, solvent free and non-toxic.
Soft-TPU: During the production of STPU, we use a STPU resin coupled with a high temperature cure. Distinguishing material properties include:
1. High Tensile Strength, Scratch Resistance
2. Abrasion Resistance, Hydrolysis Resistance
3. Low VOC (Organic solvent – VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds).i.e. ethylene chloride, benzene and ammonia).
4. Good with "Hot Press" and "High Frequency Melt" processes
5. Flame-Resistant
Recommended applications for WBPU and STPU include: Apparel, Furniture, shoes, stationery, Handbags, medical equipment and Sports Appliances.
KingSun can produce WBPU in any color or pattern and can laminate them onto any substrate of the customer's choice. Furthermore, the materials can be endowed with enhancements such as anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, deodorizing, and f lame resistant properties.
